💬 What is The Self Care Spotlight?
Any WordPress user or product owner can submit a WordPress product or service as nominee during the nomination period. After that, anyone can vote for their specific product from one or more categories. Only one vote per email address (and IP address) is allowed. Final result will show favorites of WordPress community and also give you chance to discover new products in various niche
Shop Local Augusta Favorites was created to give the CSRA community an opportunity to share their favorites… on everything you can find in the locally owned, small business community.
How does it work?

The voting for The Self Care Spotlight is a 2-phase process:
Phase 1: Nominations
During this phase you may submit your nominations for each category with open write-in nominations taking place.
The top 10 nominations in each category will move on to the Phase 2: Voting.
Phase 2: Voting
For the final round of voting, the top 10 nominees in each category will are listed in the ballot for this final round of voting
Voters (aka you) are asked select their favorite from among those that are listed on the ballot.
What is The Self Care Spotlight?
The Self Care Spotlight is a It’s an annual event where the community votes for their favorite local businesses and organizations in various categories. The winners receive recognition as the best in the CSRA, along with promotion on our platform.
How are businesses nominated for the contest?
Nominations are open to the public. You can nominate your favorite local businesses when the contest launches Septmeber 16, 2025.
How does voting work?
After nominations close, the voting round begins. Community members can vote once per day in each category during the voting period.

Make sure your business is listed in the directory and encourage your customers to nominate and vote for you during the contest. Reach out to past and present clients, your email subscribers and your social media followers! Share the contest posts and let them know what category you’re looking to win!

Hey there, I’m Destiny Holmes.
For years, I had no idea how to set boundaries and it showed. I found myself in painful situations, overextending, staying silent, and slowly realizing I wasn’t just being “nice”.
That all changed when I began studying boundaries seriously. Over two years, I dove deep into the psychology, patterns, and power behind them and started applying what I learned to my own life. The results were undeniable: deeper self-respect, healthier relationships, and a sense of confidence I hadn’t felt before.
I’m so excited to be hosting this workshop because no one teaches us how to set boundaries. We’re just expected to figure it out.
