Community Guidelines/Rules
Welcome to the self Caring Co. Community !
We’re thrilled to have you in our self-care haven. This community is here to support, inspire, and uplift each other on our self-care journeys. To ensure this space stays positive, supportive, and helpful, please follow these guidelines:
1. Be Kind and Supportive
This is a safe place for everyone to share and grow. Offer encouragement and support, and approach all interactions with empathy and respect. Judgment, harsh criticism, or shaming behavior is not welcome.
2. Focus on Self-Care and Growth
Conversations should be centered around self-care, personal growth, and well-being. While tangents can be fun, let’s strive to keep our conversations relevant to our collective self-care journeys.
3. Respect Different Paths
Everyone’s self-care journey is unique. Avoid imposing your own beliefs or practices on others. Share your experience, but understand that different things work for different people.
4. Privacy Matters
Self-care often involves sharing personal experiences. Please respect the privacy of others and avoid sharing identifying information. Do not screenshot or share posts outside this community without permission.
5. No Medical Advice
This is a peer-support community, not a substitute for professional advice. If you’re experiencing a crisis or need medical advice, please reach out to a professional or contact emergency services.
6. Be Inclusive and Respectful
Embrace and celebrate diversity. Our community is a space for all races, genders, orientations, and backgrounds. Discrimination, hate speech, or exclusionary behavior will not be tolerated.
7. Self-Promotion Rules
To keep the focus on self-care, we don’t allow unsolicited self-promotion, advertising, or spam. If you believe you have a valuable resource, contact the admin team first for approval.
8. Constructive Engagement
If you disagree with someone, do so respectfully. Use “I” statements and be mindful of your tone. Our goal is constructive dialogue and support, not conflict.
9. Share, but Be Mindful
Feel free to share your self-care wins, challenges, and experiences, but avoid graphic or potentially triggering content without warnings.
10. Moderation and Reporting
Moderators are here to keep the community safe and positive. If you see any inappropriate behavior or content, please report it to a moderator.
If you feel a member is violating these guidelines, please contact us here, or simply click the 3 dots next to the offending post to report it. Our moderators will receive an email and we will follow up.
