I am presently joined a seed growing challenge and a six week challenge on finding your homestead rhythm. I love to grow my vegetables from seed. It is winter now so it is more peacefully time but when spring comes I am busy in the gardens until early December. I am in the season of learning!

This season for self care for me is to be available for others. I have learned that when I see others hurting I want them to be at peace. Because God is with me and I know I will be okay. Also, it is helpful for me to know God is present since my dad has been gone I have been able to cry out to Him for help and peace. It is making a tremendous difference. Each season is different for all of us. Just know if you need me please let me know.
Stay safe in this wintery season and remember who's you are!

I am at different levels in many self-care types. I think I am moderate at meditation and relaxation self-care. I am pretty good at setting personal boundaries with people except when it comes to my elderly mom, who is extremely self-centered. Thankfully, I live on the other side of the US, so I am able to limit contact while still scheduling her aides and purchasing whatever she needs. Thank goodness for the Internet. I am very good at physical and medical self-care, except when it comes to my dietary care. I struggle with my diet when I get stressed out by my mom and other situations that I cannot control. So, an overall mish-mash of self-care levels.
