A person with short brown hair is partially obscured by a sheer curtain. They are wearing a white collared shirt and a delicate chain necklace. A dangling earring with a small, translucent pendant is visible. The background is softly blurred, creating a serene atmosphere.

You don’t need a self care routine to practice self care.

Be honest… how many morning routines have you tried, only to quit after a week because life got in the way? 🫣

Tracking habits, building routines, trying to see just how many things they can do all for the sake of saying, “I’m taking care of myself” IS NOT self care.

Every self-care “expert” tells you the same thing: Build a routine. Stick to it. Be consistent.

And every time you try, it works for maybe a week. Then life happens. You miss a day. Then two. Then you’re back to square one, feeling like you failed at self care… again.

If routines worked for you, you wouldn’t still be searching for a different approach.

This is your moment to shift away from that self care routine that hasn’t been working for you.

Picture this: It’s Tuesday afternoon, and instead of feeling guilty about the meditation app you haven’t opened in three weeks, you’re making your coffee and doing a quick check-in, a ritual that takes 30 seconds and actually happens.

Instead of following a perfect routine, you’re now simply showing up for yourself in tiny ways that actually fit into your day.

And at the end of the week, you realize something surprising: you’ve taken care of yourself more in these seven days than you have in the past three months of “trying to stick to a routine.”

A person elevates their style while sitting on a white chair, holding a glass of water. They wear a beige top, taupe trousers, and an olive-green blazer. Their nails are painted white, and their hair is long and loose. The setting appears calm and minimalistic.

BEHIND THE COURSE

Hi , I’m Destiny Holmes

Founder, friend, mom and very into all things self care except “self-care routines.”

I tried every morning routine, evening routine, and self-care routine I could come up with.

And you know what? I failed at all of them

Some days you wake up energized. Some days you can barely get out of bed and everything else in between.

A routine doesn’t leave room for any of that.

So rather than trying to steady force myself into routines, I started building rituals instead.

And you know what happened:

✨ I stopped feeling guilty when I didn’t do “the routine”

✨ I actually started taking care of myself consistently (just not in the same way every day)

✨ I gave myself permission to respond to what I needed instead of forcing what I thought I “should” do

Now I want to show you how to do the same.

SHOW ME HOW!

Ready to ditch your self care routine?

Rituals, Not Routines gives you an easy, sustainable way to take care of yourself without the guilt, pressure, or rigid schedules that make you want to give up. Get it today for only $49

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What’s the actual difference between a routine and a ritual?

A routine is the same steps in the same order every day. A ritual is an intentional practice you choose based on what you need.

Will this teach me a new routine to follow?

Nope! This teaches you how to stop relying on routines and start building a toolkit of rituals you can choose from. You’ll have structure without the rigidity.

I’ve tried “flexible routines” before. How is this different?

A “flexible routine” is still a routine. You’re just allowed to skip things sometimes. Rituals are a completely different approach, where you get to choose what you need instead of following a pre-set plan.

What if I’m brand new to self-care?

Perfect! You won’t have to unlearn a bunch of routine-based habits. This will help you build sustainable self-care from the start.
